Étude québécoise sur le cancer du pancréas
Québec Pancreas Cancer Study
What is the Québec Pancreas Cancer Study (QPCS)?

Until recently, there have not been many research opportunities for patients diagnosed with pancreas cancer. As a result, there is not much information available about what causes this type of cancer and how to reduce the risk for this disease.

The goals of the QPCS are to learn more about:
•    the biology of pancreas cancer
•    the lifestyle and environmental factors that affect the risk for this cancer type
•    the hereditary factors that are associated with pancreas cancer in some families
•    how to improve our ability to detect pancreas cancer earlier.
